
Want to get more involved in your local group or create change where no youth group exists yet? This volunteer role is open to anyone aged 18 to 35 engaged with Development and Peace — Caritas Canada (DPCC), whether you are already part of a group or starting a new one!

Being a youth representative means making the voices of young people in your region heard at the national level. Even if you are alone in your locality, you still act as a bridge between your environment, campus, parish or network and other young people across the movement nationwide.

This role is a chance to develop vital skills in leadership, communication, group facilitation and event organizing. It is a great way to build your commitment.

You will be able to launch solidarity projects, represent your community at national meetings and promote the social justice values that matter to you.

You’re never alone: you regularly connect with other representatives, receive support from the national team and share tools, ideas and inspiration.
