Our youth ambassadors in 2025

Who were our youth ambassadors in 2025?

In 2025, four youth ambassadors carried out our mission with commitment and conviction, brilliantly representing the four major regions of the country: Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, and Western Canada.

We are happy to introduce:

Kingsley ALOZIE

ATLANTIC

My name is Kingsley Alozie, a PhD candidate in Linguistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

As a Youth Ambassador, I am committed to amplifying the voices of young people; inspiring them to become catalysts for transformation through raising awareness about global injustices and the importance of solidarity; engaging with schools, parishes and communities to disseminate knowledge and foster understanding; and encouraging youth participation in campaigns, fundraising and volunteer activities that support our mission.

Abel Marius OULAÏ

QUEBEC

Abel Marius OULAÏ

I'm Abel Marius Oulaï, a master's student in electrical engineering at Laval University.

In my role as youth ambassador for Quebec, I'll be promoting the movement to young adults through activities that introduce the movement and raise awareness.
I'll also liaise with schools interested in the D&P Schools program. The aim is also to prepare our future young adults, who represent the future, for Development and Peace — Caritas Canada.

Nicole ESPINAL ROA

ONTARIO

Nicole ESPINAL ROA

My name is Nicole and I am the youth ambassador for Ontario! I am 18 years old, and currently in my first year of Social Sciences at McMaster University.

In this position, I hope to establish a network of youth reps within different Ontario universities to better advocate and learn to be a better advocate for not only my community, but for those all around.

Samuel John MEDERNACH

WESTERN CANADA

Samuel John MEDERNACH

Hello, my name is Sam. I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Sask., and I'm a first-year at the University of Saskatchewan. I'm currently studying music and I love getting involved with my community in extracurriculars, sports, etc.

The western region has the unique challenge of a vast geographical landmass separating us. However, I hope to help in creating a strong and connected youth community during my term as youth ambassador.
