In Israel’s actions in Gaza, Caritas Internationalis sees “a blatant disregard for the values and fundamental principles of humanity” and clear violations of various laws and conventions, “including the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.”

Israel’s shelling of a Gaza church, which has left at least three dead and many injured, is only the latest atrocity in its increasingly murderous and widening regional rampage.
