Further to our appeal for donations this summer in response to the Hunger Crisis in sub-Saharan Africa, Development and Peace is using funds doubled by the Government of Canada to support two new projects in Mali and Niger.
This project in rural areas of the province of Chimborazo, Ecuador, has improved the food security, living conditions and access to health services of the local Indigenous communities.
As part of the Government of Canada’s matching fund, Development and Peace is appealing for donations in response to the food crisis in sub-Saharan Africa, which is reaching catastrophic levels.
Development and Peace is pleased to participate in the Nouveau Québec sans frontières program of the Government of Quebec with a project that will support human rights and environmental defenders in Honduras and Colombia and forge links of solidarity with Quebec.
