The Voice for Justice campaign calls for the creation of an ombudsperson position to monitor mining companies operating abroad.

• On May 14, 2014, hundreds of Development and Peace members and allies of this campaign gathered on Parliament Hill to call for the creation of an ombudsman position and to present MPs with signatures from their constituencies.
  
  
• The rally was followed by meetings with 26 MPs, in addition to the 65 MPs already met by members across the country.
