Duration: 3-5 hours

Catching Fire (For Our Common Home)

Objective: Understand the challenges for communities defending their homes in the Amazon through the experience of defending or exploiting the forest for profit

Duration: 30-60 minutes

Climate Balloons

Objective: To critically analyze the local human causes of climate change and the negative global impacts.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Closing Liturgy and Commissioning

Objective: To end the fast and go forward with the Spirit.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Come Holy Spirit

Objective: To reflect and pray.

Duration: 15-30 minutes

Cookie Mining

Objective: To learn about the impact of extractive industries on communities and the planet.

Duration: 60-90 minutes

Creation Story

Objective: To help students aged 5-12 years old learn about the Creation Story and how it calls us to be responsible stewards of Creation.

Duration: 60 minutes

CST Citizenship assignment

Objective: To discover Catholic Social Teachings and apply them with a citizenship lens

Duration: 2 hours

Drinking Water Mindfully

Objective: To be mindful of the value and wonders of water, a unique fluid without which life could not exist.

Duration: 15 minutes

Objective: To have fun, energize and laugh.

Duration: 5-15 minutes

Earth Credo

Objective: To reflect and pray.

Duration: 10 minutes

Eco B-I-N-G-O

Objective: To get participants to know each other and to reflect on consumption patterns

Eco Prayer

Objective: To reflect on the impact we have on Our Common Home and pray for change.

Duration: 10-15 minutes

Objective: To enable participants to recognize environmentally-friendly practices.
