By Lea Mannari, Youth Programming Officer

What is this program?
The Fabien Leboeuf Youth Ambassador Program is one of the ways we honour Fabien Leboeuf’s legacy, who was a close friend of Development and Peace – Caritas Canada, a former executive director, and someone passionate about youth engagement. We hope that his example of leadership, perseverance, and putting Catholic social teaching into practice will inspire everyone who takes part.
What will you do?
This position is for young people who want to work in the field of international solidarity. Working alongside regional animators and youth programming officers, each youth ambassador will spearhead our regional efforts to raise awareness among and engage young people. This could mean developing new youth outreach strategies and leading regional youth events related to awareness-raising, advocacy, or fundraising.
Being part of the public engagement department is a great way to learn how to mobilize young Canadians around global issues that affect us all!
For the upcoming year, we are looking for our eight (8) youth ambassadors for Development and Peace – Caritas Canada!
