Development and Peace — Caritas Canada is pleased to launch its Solidarity Tour for 2025.
This year’s Solidarity Tour will take place in Peru from July 13-25, 2025 in Lima, Peru’s capital and Iquitos, a vibrant community in the Amazonian jungle. Those involved with Development and Peace — Caritas Canada (18+ y/o!), or those with similar experiences and interests for social justice, are invited to join us for a visit to our partners in Peru!
In the past, we have organized solidarity tours to give opportunities for members of the movement to meet the partners we work with on the ground, to better understand the work and to reinforce their commitment to social justice. This tour is also an excellent opportunity to encounter a different reality and a different culture. This will be a pan-Canadian travel, operating with translation from Spanish to English. This is an excellent chance to share an enriching experience with members and those who are new to Development and Peace — Caritas Canada from across the country!

Interested participants must complete the participant form and send it to Jason Cegayle no later than April 30, 2025 at jcegayle@devp.org.
Applications will be evaluated by the committee selection of staff from Development and Peace — Caritas Canada. Participants will be selected and contacted during the first week of May 2025.
