Join us for a special global townhall on Caritas’ Jubilee “Turn Debt into Hope” campaign, co-hosted by Caritas Internationalis and the Holy See Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, to mark the tenth anniversary of Laudato Si’ and celebrate the spirit of the 2025 Jubilee Year within the Laudato Si’ Week (24-31 May 2025).
Under the theme “Pilgrims of Hope: A Jubilee Inspiration for Action on Debt, Climate and Development”, this event will bring together Church leaders, faith communities, civil society and global institutions to address the urgent and interconnected crises of debt, climate change and sustainable development.
The townhall will serve as the culminating point of the campaign activity “Relay of Hope“, which will span 24 time zones from 24 to 28 May 2025. It will also offer reflections on Pope Francis’ legacy from Laudato Si’ in the context of the Jubilee and our debt campaigning, as we mobilise ahead of key international milestones including the Fourth Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), the G20 and COP30, to name but few.
