Our Stand for the Land campaign is amplifying the struggle of the people of Guapinol, Honduras, who are resisting a toxic iron ore mine in their community. Members of Development and Peace – Caritas Canada have been invited by Fundacion ERIC, a partner in Honduras, to aid in this struggle.
Join us as we welcome human rights investigator Elvin Hernandez from ERIC in person to tell us more about the challenges and resistance of this brave community – and what we can do to help!
